From 05.04.2022 to 08.04.2022, a four day training event took place in Kranj, Slovenia, hosted by the Solski Center Kranj. Nine participants were included in the event, two hosts, Natasa Kristan and Uros Sterle from SC Kranj – Slovenia, as well as seven participants from the Project partners: Stefan Zlatinov and Tomislav Kartalov from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies – Macedonia, Slobodan Tanevski and Igor Atanasov from the Municipal Vocational High School “ILINDEN” – Macedonia, Arpad Kocis and Ermidin Elezovic from the School for Electrical Engineering “Mihajlo Pupin” – Serbia, and Primoz Kocuvan from Institute Jozef Stefan – Slovenia.
In the training event, the participants were divided into two focal groups. The larger group worked on the finalization of the work in the intellectual output O3, and produced several educational and visualization tools for teaching the machine learning concepts to VET high school students. The smaller group focused on shaping the machine learning and data science curriculum, as planned in the intellectual output O4.In addition to several days of fruitful work, the trip to Slovenia was enriched with social events, visits to Bled, Radovljica and Smarjetna Gora. Also, a tour of the school facilities and impressive laboratories was made, and the participants were invited to a meeting with the director of the Solski Center Kranj, Joze Drenovec.
